For over a decade, Sport Fest Windsor has been more than a series of events — it’s been a movement of hope and second chances for families across Windsor-Essex County and beyond.
Founded by Tom and Roger Awad after Tom’s miraculous liver transplant, this non-profit organization was created to raise awareness for organ and tissue donation through sporting, cultural, and entertainment events.
Together with an incredible team of volunteers, Tom and Roger have:
✅ Inspired thousands in Windsor-Essex to register as donors
✅ Partnered with the Windsor Fastpitch Softball Hall of Fame to expand awareness
✅ Shared stories of hope, healing, and connection
✅ Built a community where tragedies are turned into miracles
And now… it’s time to pass the torch.
Sport Fest Windsor is ready for its next chapter — and you could be the one to lead it.
Whether you’re an individual leader, a small team, or part of an organization ready to step in — we want to hear from you.
In Ontario today, thousands are waiting for a lifesaving organ transplant. One donor can save up to eight lives.
Sport Fest Windsor exists to ensure that more families discuss donation, more people register, and more lives are saved.
Taking on this role isn’t just about leading an organization —it’s about carrying forward a legacy of hope.
By stepping into this role, you’ll have the chance to:
🌟 Inspire donor registrations and save lives
🌟 Connect families and communities through shared stories and events
🌟 Build on an established foundation while shaping its future vision
🌟 Ensure Sport Fest Windsor continues to thrive for years to come
