Sport Fest Windsor’s 4th Annual Charity Challenge 2011

W.R.A.C.E Walkers & Runners Around the County of Essex Event: Walkers, runners, kids and fun lovers are wanted on Saturday April 16th at the Ciociaro Club for our 4th Annual RUN UNDER THE SUN. Registration is from 3:00pm – 4:15pm. The race lineup includes a 2K family walk, 5K run/walk and 10K run. There are race prizes and ribbons for each age bracket, as well as door prizes and T-Shirts. W.R.A.C.E. has chip timing. The race will be followed by an outdoor Bar-B-Q in the pavilion area with lots of beverages, hotdogs and hamburgers.

Girls: Prizes & Scholarships Up For Grabs!!! It’s time for baseball! The “One Life, Many Gifts” 4th Annual Girl’s High School Slo-Pitch Tournament, sponsored by Motor City Community Credit Union, is scheduled at the Ciociaro Club Slo-Pitch Complex on Friday and Saturday, April 29th and April 30th, 2011. It is open to high school teams only, province-wide. This event helps us raise awareness for the importance of organ and tissue donation.

Annual London To Windsor Relay Walk 2011

Its here again!. The annual Gift Of Life Relay Walk from London, Ontario to Windsor, Ontario. It takes place from Wednesday September 14 to Saturday September 17, 2011. We take the Hwy #2 London to Windsor route. Sport Fest Windsor would like to invite Hotel-Dieu employees and members of our community to have a stroll with us in a relay walk to pay tribute to organ and tissue donor families. Proceeds will benefit Hotel-Dieu Grace Hospital and help us promote the new Organ Donation Online Registry at BeADonor.ca.

7th Annual Organ Donation Awareness Dinner

Every year we organize a dinner to pay tribute to organ donors and their families in our area. Once again our annual dinner will be at the Serbian Centre on Sunday September 25, 2010. It will be sit down style, 5 course dinner with pasta and meat sauce, roasted chicken, roasted potatoes and vegetables, salad, bun, coffee, tea and dessert along with a cash bar.
