Adjusting Your Bowling Approach If You Leave 10 Pin Taps
Here is a bowling tip that I have heard a lot over the years. This is for you if you are leaving the 10 pin a lot. RH bowlers.
The technique is changing your bowling ball angle or getting the bowling ball to roll or hook at a different spot. To do this you would move up or back on the approach a half a step.
This will take some trial and error to find out which way you have to move. Moving back usually makes the ball roll sooner and moving up generally makes it roll later.
I would suggest you toy around with this technique to find out if it helps you carry the ten pin. I will move up at times because it helps my timing. In addition, not all centers dots on the approach are at the same spot so you really can not go by them.
So try moving up or back on the approach. I hope this helps you get out of those pesky 10 pins.
Good Luck and Good Bowling.
It is then important to discuss your wishes with your family.
