Emery Homes’ Marinacci Batting Champ
Top Spoils to
Emery in Metro
Hec Marinacci was the lone Metro Fastball League swinger to top the coveted .400 plateau and it earned him the league batting title by a wide margin.
The Emery homes’ belter stroked 25 hits in 60 plate appearances for a .417 average, 52 points better than runner-up George Lung of Calcot Hotel who finished at .365 with 27 hits in 74 trips.
Emery’s Bill Noble was far and away the top hurler in the four-team league with a brilliant 15-0 won lost record, 188 strikeouts and a microscopic earned run average of 0.81.
Marinacci was a triple winner also taking the RBI title with 17 and the triples crown with four. He also proved he could field, posting a .973 percentage.
It is then important to discuss your wishes with your family.
